Lahore Government School Results Still Missing from SIS App, Students Face Admission Issues

Serious administrative lapses have emerged in Lahore after examination results of nearly 400,000 students from government schools were not uploaded on the Student Information System (SIS) App for the academic year 2024–25.

Across Punjab, results from 35 out of 36 districts have already been uploaded successfully. Lahore remains the only district where the District Education Authority (DEA) has failed to complete the process.

The missing data includes results of Class 1 to Class 9 students. Due to the absence of records on the SIS App, many students are now facing difficulties in admissions for the next academic session.

Taking notice of the issue, the Programme Monitoring and Implementation Unit (PMIU) has directed all teachers of Lahore’s government schools to report to their institutions despite the ongoing winter holidays.

PMIU officials said results will be uploaded during official school hours. Teachers who fail to comply have been instructed to appear at the Education Authority office on January 2.

Authorities have warned that non-compliance will result in disciplinary action under the PEDA Act, further tightening pressure on staff to resolve the issue immediately.
