KP Government Bans Manual Sale Stamp Papers Across Province
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has announced a complete ban on manual stamp papers, making the use of e-stamps mandatory throughout the province.
The Revenue and Estate Department has directed all district treasury offices to immediately halt the sale of any unused manual stamp papers. The move aligns with efforts to modernize revenue systems and enhance financial transparency.

Since 2022, e-stamps have been issued officially through the Bank of Khyber, the province’s designated government bank. Officials emphasized that this shift aims to prevent fraud, misuse, and financial irregularities associated with traditional stamp papers.
Authorities also noted that the transition to e-stamps will strengthen accountability in revenue collection, ensuring a more secure and efficient system for legal and financial documentation across KP.
