Germany Opens Skilled Job Pathway for Pakistanis as Nursing Shortage Deepens
The Government of Pakistan has announced new overseas job opportunities in Germany for skilled Pakistani professionals, particularly in the healthcare sector, as the European country faces an acute shortage of nurses.

According to the Bureau of Emigration and Overseas Employment (BEOE), Pakistani applicants with recognized degrees or diplomas can apply, but only after completing Germany’s mandatory qualification recognition process. Authorities clarified that work visas will not be issued without official approval from relevant German institutions.
The process includes verification of academic credentials, professional experience, and German language proficiency. In most cases, applicants are required to have B2-level German language skills. Those who fall short may be asked to complete additional training or equivalency exams.
